A Challenge Meant to Make you Deliberately Uncomfortable

By February 15, 2021No Comments

Even though It's Created by Them, It's Definitely Not Just for Special Forces Operators...

but if you stick with it, you definitely will be operating at a whole different level.

It’s all your fault. It’s tough to hear that. It’s tough to take accountability and ownership of that. It’s tough because it’s true.

We get overwhelmed with the duties and responsibilities of life. We can’t find the time to do the things that we know we should be doing. before you know it a year has passed then years have passed and you realize that you let yourself go physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, spiritually, and professionally. You know what you need to do, but you just aren’t doing it.

Why?

Because it’s hard. To help you get back to where you want to (and need to) be, I’ve created a tribe of Special Operations veterans, scientists, and supporters to help you achieve those goals. That’s right – you aren’t doing this challenge by yourself. You’re doing it with a team. Now, I need to warn you – this is very, very hard. It’s meant to be. Not because we are masochists, but because you need to choose hard things or hard things will choose you.

We cannot and will not force you to do anything. You have to intentionally, voluntarily, deliberately choose discomfort. What we have found from decades of elite training is that when people are exhausted, their true character surfaces. It’s when you are most willing and responsive to change. That’s what we’re striving for with the Deliberate Discomfort Challenge—to get people to change their lives. To not tolerate what they did before. To not tolerate the “can’t” and push themselves to achieve more. We only have one life to live. At Mission Six Zero, we are committed to making that life better.

We have hundreds of people that are going through the Challenge, from all walks of life. Senior adults, people with limiting physical conditions, people that have never worked out before. All of them have discovered that they can do it. Yes, there are former military, first responders, and others that are already in good shape, and they’re encouraged to turn up the intensity.

The Challenge is not just a physical workout program, it’s a whole person workout program. Anyone here a stoic? Good. The ancient Greeks had the idea of needing to combine the healthy body with a sound mind. No one understands how to perform optimally more than Special Operations Forces with decades of elite experience.
